Residents and supporters of Glen Rose ISD are invited to nominate a former graduate of the Glen Rose High School to receive the prestigious "Tiger's Eye Award to be presented during commencement exercises in May 2024.
Nominees must be a GRHS graduate who has shown continued support of local schools throughout the years in any of the various ways: loyal attendance at events, purchased annually from school classes or organizations, volunteered for various programs and committees on campuses or school activities, served as a mentor, and/or achieved outstanding honors within his or her chosen profession. The winner will be selected by a rotating committee of GRHS graduates representing each decade. During graduation ceremonies in May, the winner will be presented with a custom tiger's eye ring. Additionally, the winner will play a key role in these exercises, and his/her name will be added to a large plaque which is prominently displayed in the high school auditorium.
